Four of our youth theatre members from Take Out and two of the youth theatre assistants have been helping actor Dudley Sutton (who, aged 77, appeared at the Bristol Old Vic in Juliet & her Romeo earlier in the year) to explore and challenge stereotypes of old people in a humorous and thought provoking way.
Acting My Age, a film created by Bristol production company Quintessence Films, will be launching Bristol's Celebrating Age Festival. Commissioned by Bristol City Council and authored by Dudley, Acting My Age is a colourful mix of documentary, polemic, drama, animation and poetry.
The world premiere of Acting My Age will be at Watershed on Monday 6th September, the opening day of the festival.
